Things are changin'...

Ah, it's that time of life where some keep moving forward and some stop where they are. I don't know where I'll be in a few months, let alone a few years! Scary and exhilarating.

Anyway, check out Gary Clark Jr. He's an amazing blues guitarist and pretty much the shit. Found a great music site called GrooveShark.com (which apparently I'm a little late on finding, but oh well). Listen to Gary Clark Jr.'s whole album, Blak and Blue (FO FREE!) here.

Feeling the springtime whimsy as well? Follow my Pinterest board under the same name.

In my prime.

Development of a number as a part of concept brainstorming for the visual communication senior show at Northern, students were told to design a monogram-style number, which was chosen for us. I thought this was pretty perfect for me, being a 22-year-old twin... so maybe I'll end up using this for other things, too, who knows.

TGIT : )

A quote to live your (love) life by.

This is a quote from the book by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo that was later made into a movie. The book is a great read and is also HILARIOUS, so definitely check it out. But of course, you gotta get the original book cover design not the horrendous post-movie cover.

Get the book from Amazon here.

Winter by the lagoon

Pictures from a very cold day in DeKalb. It's been super dry lately so everything is ice, and you still see the leftovers from fall. This lagoon on campus is just beautiful to walk around during any season.

Weekday Wear

I love trying new things.. So this is my shot at print mixing and also trying to stay warm during this cold snap. It was 0 degrees in DeKalb today.. yikes! The scarf was a gift from Brussels, but the sweater I found in the sale room at Anthropologie last year. I looove Anthropologie but don't love their prices, so I always head straight to the back sale room before I fall in love with something I'll never be able to afford and get depressed.

Anyway... Happy Tuesday!
