Pictures from a very cold day in DeKalb. It's been super dry lately so everything is ice, and you still see the leftovers from fall. This lagoon on campus is just beautiful to walk around during any season.
I like your photos! They don't convey the extreme cold which you went through to take them. They show the atypical level of precipitation. The water level is very low for this time of year and the ground show no signs of snow. This is really atypical for DeKalb Il in late January!
